Our Society was formed to assist members with their family history research by providing a meeting place for genealogists and family historians to pursue their common interests. Our Library and Research Centre is located approximately 25kms south of Sydney at the Port Hacking Community Centre, 184 Gannons Road, Caringbah South, in the Sutherland Shire.
Membership of the Society includes Free Access to Ancestry, FindMyPast, The Genealogist, FamilySearch, the British Newspaper Archive, Sydney Morning Herald Archive, Biographical Database of Australia as well as access to a comprehensive collection of indexes, books, CDs, journals, microfiche/film, maps and pamphlets. 
We hold monthly meetings with guest speakers, monthly heritage tours, seminars, workshops, and specialist Interest Groups such as Scotland, Ireland, DNA, Family Tree Maker and Technology. 
Our Research Centre is open Monday, Wednesday & Friday 10am to 2pm and Saturdays by appointment.
